Little Green Dresses by Tina Sparkles
I must say; the title of the book, Little Green Dresses, intrigued me, an interesting title made for an interesting book, now the concept is simple in and of itself; DIY(do it yourself) dresses. However, with dresses like these, DIY got a whole lot better, at least, for me. Good Fashion styling and a good photographer made for photographs that broadened horizons and gave a motivational vision. Tina Sparkles made garment patterns that were fun, flirty, versatile and ,possibly, cheap. I, personally, love shopping, but the prices can be a little ridiculous sometimes, but most of us put up with these prices because of the availability, however, Little Green Dresses opened my mind a bit more, it wasn't anything that made me want to quit shopping, however, I realized that I could easily make some fun, fresh, personalized garments at home, and they'd be much cheaper. The funny introductory statements kept me reading and, being a person who dislikes instructions, the illustration was mostly clear enough for me to avoid constantly reading directions. This is definitely a book that I'd be opening incessantly so that I can do it myself.
